ScerIS Technology Gift Targets $2B in Savings for U.S. Entities
ScerIS, Inc. is gifting its ETCETERA® software platform to U.S. business, healthcare, and government entities to help each organization accomplish an unimaginable annualized savings of $1,000 to $4,000 per employee. The initial value of the gift is based on the size of the beneficiary’s organization and their business improvement requirements and ranges in size from up to $50,000 to over $1,000,000.
“ScerIS employees were emotionally moved by the impact of the pandemic on our customers and their employees, many of whom have become friends over the years, and more recently the impact of inflation on organizations. They suggested that ScerIS eliminate license and subscription fees for the ETCETERA software platform to remove the hurdle of inadequate funding, that organizations have, to implementing or expanding their digitization efforts,” says Jim Walckner, president and CEO, adding “removing our primary income source seemed like a bad idea, but with the support of our board of directors we structured a program that gifts unlimited access to the ETCETERA software platform without a license fee, now and forever. The end goal of this program is to provide the foundation for our customers on which they can significantly improve business processes and drive cost savings.”
The available gifted software includes all the modules of the ETCETERA® software platform. The selection of functionality is determined by each customer. A platform for rapid application development and process management deployments, ETCETERA® is used by customers to deliver major changes without additional capital by engaging their existing staff to innovate and improve business processes. This software replaces costly enterprise application software customizations, content management systems and work process automation software, and eliminates technology silos and their attendant infrastructure costs.
“The ScerIS team is always amazed at the creativity of our customers as they personalize their use of the platform to optimize their many business processes including processes we never knew existed,” says John Nelson, CTO, “Jim’s vision has helped us develop the Swiss Army knife tech platform that is so easy for so many to use in so many different ways.”
