A prenatal massage is a relaxing experience for the client and baby. The techniques are great for whole-body relaxation or one to two specific treatment areas. Sasha has specialized expertise and training in safe and effective positioning and techniques for prenatal clients. The massage techniques are ideal for healthy and high-risk pregnancies so the client can rest and restore. Massage therapy during pregnancy has been reported to provide benefits such as improved relaxation, better sleep, and a sense of wellness. A traditional, natural therapy, maya abdominal massage is a gentle technique focusing on the internal organs, connective tissue, and abdominal muscles. The massage technique is also called a fertility massage and womb massage. As taught by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, the method helps to guide organs back into the proper places. It tones the uterus muscles, allowing them to coordinate during labor and after birth to prevent bleeding. The massage may also increase the receptors to accept the powerful contracting hormones delivered from the ancient part of the brain.

Ayurvedic postpartum doula care is focused on mothering new mothers in the specific ways needed to recover from the changes of pregnancy and birth in the first 42 days — the 4th Trimester. This window of time is a period of rest, healing foods, and deep connected care. New mothers need mothering, protection, and care to ease into their new roles as mothers.
An ayurvedic postpartum doula cares for the new mother at home for six to eight weeks following childbirth. The doula takes care of her so that she can focus on caring for, falling in love with, and bonding with her new baby while also getting the rest she needs to heal from pregnancy and birth.
