Dr. Patrice Buckner Jackson, known by many as Dr. PBJ, has officially announced the launch of her groundbreaking debut book, ‘Disrupting Burnout: The Professional Woman’s Lifeline to Finding Purpose’, alongside the ‘Disrupting Burnout’ book tour.

Dr. PBJ holds a doctoral degree in Education Administration and is an award-winning educator with nearly 25 years of experience. She has been an executive coach for more than 10 years, in which the last several years she has specialized in burnout recovery coaching. Dr. PBJ is also the founder of EduCare Training and Consulting, LLC, which helps educators prevent burnout. Her speaking engagements and workshops have captivated crowds and provided results-oriented strategies that have been raved about by new and seasoned educators alike.

Now, she is imparting her wisdom and expertise in her highly anticipated debut book. ‘Disrupting Burnout’ offers HeartWork strategies designed to help women in professional careers to move through burnout and eliminate it, release the expectations placed on them by others, build protective boundaries, and leverage their brilliance for soul-satisfying work.

“Our most compassionate professionals are suffering through a burnout epidemic,” said Dr. PBJ. “My heart is to equip purposeful professionals with the strategies to work with high levels of empathy without the consequences of burnout.”

‘Disrupting Burnout’ will officially launch on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Dr. PBJ will also impart on a book tour starting with the January 9, 2024, virtual launch. The rest of the schedule is as follows:

In addition to the book tour events, Dr. PBJ has partnered with school administrators to offer free professional development workshops for school personnel focused on Disrupting Burnout including the newly consolidated Hampton County High School, Statesboro High School, Southeast Bulloch High School, and Portal High School.
