Embark on a Groundbreaking Adventure with "The Antidotes: Pollution Solution" by Dr. Patricia Mechael
“The Antidotes: Pollution Solution” by Dr. Patricia Mechael is an award-winning middle-grade book that combines an exciting eco-adventure with valuable life lessons. The story fosters STEM education, public health awareness, and environmental consciousness among young readers, making it an essential read for children and adults alike.

Bold Story Press is proud to announce the release of a highly acclaimed new middle-grade book, “The Antidotes: Pollution Solution,” penned by public health specialist Dr. Patricia Mechael. An enlightening story, this book wraps its tentacles around the heartstrings of its readers as they follow the path of a group of classmates who strive to save their town from a dire ecological crisis – a corporate experiment gone terribly wrong!

This award-winning book captivates young minds and opens them up to important discussions regarding the global pandemic aftermath, the trials of grief, and the complexity of co-parenting. Engineered to ignite curiosity and stimulate the young scientists among us, the book was First Place in the Bookfest Juvenile Fiction Awards in Science & Nature and Social Issues and received the prestigious Literary Titan Book Gold Book award.

Dr. Mechael passionately believes in the power of literature to inspire young minds. “It is tricky to discuss challenging topics with children in age-friendly ways, but it is so important. I want to inspire and empower a whole new generation to understand public health, technology, and the environment – and what they can do today and hopefully as the world’s future leaders.”

She invites thought-provoking discussions on a range of topics including public health policy, empowering girls in STEM, battling pollution, the significance of geographical location on health, lessons from the pandemic, and the global and local impact of clean water.

Authored with her son Gabriel as her muse, Dr. Mechael showcases her journey as the first researcher to study the effects of cellphones on health and wellbeing, offering a balance of positive and negative aspects.

“The Antidotes: Pollution Solution” makes its mark as an inspiring and thought-provoking journey for middle-grade readers. Available on Kindle in paperback and as an audiobook.

Deb Levine, Founder of YTH.org, endorses the book as a page-turner and a lesson for adults, public health experts, and young readers alike. Andrea Marks-Joseph of Independent Book Review further extols it as educational, empowering, and motivating for all ages.
