Cultural Event Series in Jiangbei New Area Concludes
On October 21, 800 drones ascended into the night sky over Jiangbei New Area in Nanjing, forming various dazzling shapes with colorful lights, illuminating the night sky. This spectacular drone light show served as the grand finale of the first Changjiang Tide Cultural Life Season.

The monthlong cultural event series, featuring water curtain shows, concerts, live theater performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and drone displays, extended warm invitation to the public. Radmir, an international student from Russia, was attracted by the event and shot a vlog to record his exploration of Jiangbei New Area.

Radmir’s lens captured historical sites like Pukou Railway Station, and old industrial areas like Yangtze River Eco-Park, and the Yangtze River T-stage. Today, these places are teeming with the vibrant presence of the younger generation. A series of lively and innovative new stories are unfolding in Jiangbei New Area.
Intangible cultural heritage, Kunqu opera performances, immersive theatrical experiences, traditional ethnic music, symphonies, and more… The new wave of cultural and artistic expressions flowed into every corner of Jiangbei New Area.

The “National Day Hike along the Most Beautiful Riverside” and the “Dynamic Jiangbei” Yangtze River Cultural and Sports Exhibition, as well as the opening of the Nanjing Jiangbei Library, are also part of the Changjiang Tide Cultural Life Season. They have significantly enriched the content and form of the Changjiang Tide Cultural Life Season.
