The classic game of pool is being reimagined with the launch of SkillBall X, a revolutionary mobile game that prioritizes strategic thinking over simple sharpshooting. Fusing the physics of billiards with the tactical depth of a strategy game, SkillBall X introduces a groundbreaking new way to play. The project is now turning to the Kickstarter community to fund its final development and bring this innovative vision to a global audience.

SkillBall X transforms the traditional pool table into a dynamic arena of intellect and skill. The game departs from the simple objective of potting balls by introducing a point-based scoring system where every shot is a calculated gameplay. It features a unique 9-pocket table, including a strategic center pocket and 8 outer pockets, and gameplay mechanics designed to reward players who can think several moves ahead. This new format challenges both seasoned billiards veterans and strategy game enthusiasts to develop entirely new tactics to win.

At the core of this redesigned experience are several key innovations that set SkillBall X apart from any other mobile pool games on the market:

1. Strategic Point System: Players earn points based on which numbered ball is potted into which pocket. Potting a low-numbered ball into a high-numbered pocket yields positive points, while the reverse can result in negative scores, opening the door for offensive and defensive plays.

2. The Bonus Ball & Center Pocket: A special Bonus Ball, which can only be pocketed in the Bonus pocket (central 9th hole), allows players to chain turns and multiply their score, adding a crucial layer of tactical planning.

3. The “SkillBall Shot”: The ultimate move in the game, where a player pots a numbered ball into its matching pocket while simultaneously sinking the Bonus Ball in the Bonus pocket in a single shot, resulting in a massive point reward.

4. Calculated Risk: Unlike traditional pool, potting the 9-ball too early results in an immediate loss, forcing players to control the table and carefully time their final move.

Traditional mobile pool games have perfected the physics, but they haven’t evolved the strategy.
