Roger Gallagher Scholarship for Entrepreneurs Announces Annual Award for Undergraduate Students Pursuing Innovation-Driven Careers
Miami, FL – Roger Gallagher, Managing Director of Continuum Capital LLC and fourth-generation wealth management professional, announces the opening of applications for the Roger Gallagher Scholarship for Entrepreneurs. This annual scholarship awards $1,000 to undergraduate students nationwide who demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to building sustainable businesses grounded in relationships and integrity rather than shortcuts or hype.
Unlike traditional scholarships that focus primarily on academic achievement, the Roger Gallagher Scholarship for Entrepreneurs seeks students who understand that meaningful success requires resilience, disciplined execution, and long-term perspective. The scholarship is open to undergraduate students at accredited colleges and universities across the United States, regardless of major or GPA. Applicants are evaluated based on the strength, originality, and depth of their essay submissions rather than conventional credentials.
“Sustainable businesses are rarely built on disruption narratives or rapid growth alone,” explains Roger Gallagher. “They’re built on relationships, character, and the willingness to learn from failure. This scholarship exists to support students who embody those values and who understand that entrepreneurship is as much about mindset as it is about execution.”
With 15 years of experience navigating multi-generational wealth and advising families on governance, operations, and legacy planning, Roger Gallagher has witnessed firsthand the difference between businesses that scale responsibly and those that collapse under their own momentum. Currently serving as Managing Director of Continuum Capital LLC, Roger Gallagher spent over a decade consulting as President of an Exempt Single Family Office, where he provided strategic leadership to families navigating complex wealth transitions. Before that, he spent nearly 14 years at Morgan Stanley, advancing to Senior Vice President and Family Wealth Advisor, specializing in intergenerational wealth transfer and tax-efficient estate planning.
Roger Gallagher holds a Bachelor of Science in History and Classical & Ancient Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and serves as an active member of The Guardsmen, a San Francisco nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and mentorship. In early 2026, he launched educational services for exempt single family offices worldwide, focusing on relationship preservation, simplified operations, and next-generation involvement.
About the Scholarship
The Roger Gallagher Scholarship for Entrepreneurs provides financial support to undergraduate students pursuing entrepreneurial careers, whether through launching startups, joining early-stage companies, or developing innovation-driven career paths. The selection committee evaluates applicants based on their ability to articulate an entrepreneurial philosophy, demonstrate critical thinking about business and risk, and reflect on what it takes to build sustainable value.
Criteria for the Scholarship
Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate students at accredited colleges or universities in the United States and pursuing career paths in entrepreneurship, innovation, or business building. All majors are welcome. Students must be in good academic standing and able to provide proof of enrollment upon request. The application requires a 750–1,000 word essay responding to the following prompt: “Entrepreneurship is often romanticized as disruption, innovation, and rapid growth. But sustainable businesses are rarely built on hype—they’re built on relationships, disciplined execution, and long-term thinking. Reflect on a business, founder, or entrepreneurial principle that embodies this philosophy. What lessons have you drawn from it, and how will those lessons inform the way you approach building value in your own career or ventures?”
