DDFK Oompah Band Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Record-Breaking International Tour
LONDON, UK – DDFK Oompah Band, the UK’s premier Oktoberfest and Schlager-style entertainment ensemble, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its landmark 30th year in business. Since its inception three decades ago, the band has evolved from a local favorite into a versatile powerhouse of musical entertainment. The 2024-2025 season marked a historic peak for the group, spanning Royal medals, Netflix film sets, and a grand finale in the heart of Austria.
The anniversary year was anchored by the band’s residency at the Munich Cricket Club Bierkeller in Westminster and Tower Hill. Performing every Thursday and Saturday, DDFK became the heartbeat of London’s German scene, headlining Starkbierfest, Oktoberfest, and high-energy Schlager parties.

The group’s versatility was on full display throughout the year:
- Cultural & Community: Supported community spirit through cultural events with Cohesion + and the German YMCA Frühlingfest.
- Military & Ceremonial: Transitioned into a prestigious Military Marching Band configuration for St. George’s Day and VE Day Celebrations.
- Cinematic Milestones: Provided a massive 40-piece Military Marching Band for a major Netflix production filmed in Central London, scheduled for release in November 2026.
- Elite Sporting Events: Performed at the Horse of the Year Show at Hickstead and for elite clubs including Fulham FC and the London City Lionesses.
As the anniversary concluded, the DDFK Trio traveled to Salzburg, Austria, for a four-day wedding celebration, immersing themselves in the traditional hospitality of the Altes Rathaus and Augustiner Bräu. As DDFK Oompah Band looks toward the next decade, they remain the gold standard for authentic, high-energy entertainment.
