Tickets are selling fast for Luxe Cruises’ 2026 Mother’s Day lunch cruise on San Francisco Bay
With five weeks until the May 10 sailing, the annual Mother’s Day cruise aboard the Cabernet Sauvignon Yacht is approaching capacity. The 3-hour afternoon includes a buffet lunch, champagne, bottomless mimosas, and DJ entertainment.

Luxe Cruises & Events reports that tickets for its annual Mother’s Day cruise are moving faster than in previous years, with the May 10 sailing now approaching limited availability. The yacht has a fixed guest capacity, and once it’s full, it’s full — there’s no adding chairs or squeezing in extra tables.

The cruise departs from 2394 Mariner Square Dr in Alameda at 1:00 p.m. and returns at 4:00 p.m. Check-in opens at noon, boarding starts at 12:30 p.m., and free parking is available at the dock. Every ticket covers a chef-prepared buffet lunch, complimentary champagne, bottomless mimosas, and a DJ on the Cabernet Sauvignon Yacht as it sails past the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco skyline.

Why does this cruise sell out

This is a once-a-year event. Luxe Cruises runs one Mother’s Day sailing, on one yacht, for one afternoon. There’s no second seating, no rain-check date, and no waitlist once the boat hits capacity. In past years, the cruise has sold out before the week of Mother’s Day, leaving late planners with no way to book.

Compared to a typical restaurant reservation on Mother’s Day, the cruise offers a few things that are hard to replicate:

  • Three hours on the water instead of a 90-minute table turn at a packed restaurant

  • Food and drinks included in the ticket price — no surprise bill at the end

  • A DJ and space to dance while cruising the Bay

  • Views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from the water, not from a window seat

  • Kids are welcome, with a separate kids’ meal (chicken tenders, tater tots, fruit cup) included for ages 3–11

What the buffet lunch includes

The full onboard menu:

  • Hand-carved Black Angus prime rib (GF) with Cabernet Sauvignon reduction and creamy horseradish

  • Rosemary garlic herb chicken in a white wine reduction

  • Bay romaine Caesar salad, oven-roasted seasonal vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, bread rolls

  • Desserts: Chocolate ganache cheesecake and banana Foster mousse cake

  • Drinks: Complimentary champagne and bottomless mimosas, plus a cash bar for cocktails, wine, and beer

Vegetarian and special-dietary entrees are available upon advance request. Email [email protected] at least 48 hours before sailing.

How to get tickets before they’re gone

Tickets are available now through Eventbrite. Once the yacht reaches capacity, sales close. There is no standby list and no day-of availability. Kids tickets (ages 3–11) include the kids meal. All sales are final. Full details and the ticket purchase policy are on the event page.
